Grove Gesture is based on PAJ7620U2 that integrates gesture recognition function with general I2C interface into a single chip. It can recognize 9 gestures including moving up, moving down, moving left, moving right, etc with a simple swipe by your hand.
We can use the gesture to adjust the sound volume and control a robot. We can also make a remote-control unit, which is able to operate many devices at the same time using gestures.
Following is a video that uses a Gesture sensor with a matrix to display the direction of the hand.
