The RS485 UV Radiation Sensor measures the intensity of UV radiation in the environment. Using UV sensing technology, it detects and measures UV radiation levels and has applications in agricultural meteorology, plant growth, and ecological research.
This industrial UV radiation sensor monitors UV radiation from 240 to 395 nanometers. It uses a photodetector with an optical filter to generate a current signal proportional to UV intensity. Sensitivity varies with the angle of incidence. It has a range of 0 to 200 W/m² and measures in W/m². Supports MODBUS-RTU RS485 for customized monitoring via RS485 data logger.
With an IP68 rating and an operating temperature range of -30°C to 75°C, this rugged total irradiance sensor operates reliably outdoors. It ensures accurate measurement of UV radiation to help understand its impact on crops and ecosystems, providing a solid foundation for research.
