MCP2551 and MCP2515 Serial CAN-BUS Module enable your Arduino and other MCU to communicate to CAN-BUS to hack your vehicle. CAN-BUS is a common industrial bus because of its long travel distance, medium communication speed, and high reliability. This Serial CAN-BUS module is based on MCP2551 and MCP2515, which provides a speed of up to 1Mb/s. It also has a terminal block so you can connect to your vehicle’s OBD-II port with two wires.
Highlighted Features
- There's Grove connect as well as Grove cable included in the kit, which allows connecting the module to your Arduino easily
- We also recommend the OBD-11 CAN-BUS Development kit which consists of the Serial CAN Bus module as well as the OBD-II connector
- As the module uses serial communication, the frequency of receiving data can't be too fast, you can receive a frame every millisecond under 115200 baud rate
- Easy-to-use Arduino library
